CountMyToken

About

A calculator for AI API bills.

CountMyToken is for developers, founders, and anyone else trying to see what a model call costs before the invoice arrives.

Text you paste into the counter is counted on your device. It is not uploaded. Share links keep the numbers you typed into the calculator. They do not keep that text.

Token counts for OpenAI use the o200k_base and cl100k_base encodings. Counts for Claude, Gemini, xAI, Mistral, DeepSeek, and Cohere are estimates. Each estimate says which published ratio it uses, or that it is only a four-character rule of thumb.

Prices were read from each provider’s own page. The date on the site, 23 October 2026, is the day those pages were checked. A listed future price, such as Gemini’s December change, is applied when that date arrives. The checked date does not move by itself.

Amounts can be shown in other currencies. The rates are the European Central Bank’s daily rates, fetched through Frankfurter and saved for a day. If the rate source is unavailable, the site stays in US dollars or uses the last saved rate, and it says which.

If you leave an email for price updates, that address is stored so it can be emailed when a listed price changes. If you pick a model, that choice is stored with the address. You can remove the address on any price-update form.
